Strange News Touring are ecstatic to announce the long-awaited return of American indie-folk singer-songwriter Julie Byrne.

Touring with a trio as part her stunning new album The Greater Wings.

The album was recorded on either side of a death of Julie’s friend and collaborator, Eric Littmann. Providing the songs with a quiet gravitas and giving sonic space of the album an entracing melancholy. 

With her hushed vocals, sparse instrumentation and gently plucked guitar, Julie Byrne has a way of drawing you in close. Onstage with her musical companions, Byrne is a spellbinding presence, able to transform any room into her front porch.
