International: US reaches one million COVID-19 deaths

The United States has passed one million COVID deaths.

That equates to one death for every 327 Americans.

President Joe Biden is called it a tragic milestone and is still urging Americans to get vaccinated and boosted.

It is believed that 6.7 million people have died from Covid around the world.

However, the World Health Organisations estimates the number is actually close to 15 million.
