Jono Glenday can normally be found playing in Long Distance Runner, an Auckland skramz band who play ridiculously fast, short and aggressive tracks. But he’s flipped the coin with his electronic project Fly Nights. On the day he released his debut EP Passage, Jono joined Zac in studio for a live performance.
Trapjaw Kelpie is a project by Tim Dustow. He has a history of genre defying work, previously performing in acts like Wellington duo West Coast Bullies. After his relocation to Auckland, Tim sought collaborations with different musical guests, and is currently playing as a two piece with Ben Locke (Sea Views) . Trapjaw Kelpie have a large body of work, with very little of it record so it was a treat for them to perform in the 95bFM studio.
WhyFi. is the musical project of Larsen Taylor. His debut 'Dishwasher Cookie' has been a aural highlight of 2017 so it was a no brainer to have the Grow Room affliate joins Zac in studio for a live performance.
While he's only in his twenties Ruben Winter has already built a stong musical legacy performing in Bandicoot, Caroles, NIISA, Milk, and Gotenks. He's also featured as a live DJ for Randa, drum in P.H.F. and be an active member of the Kerosene Comic Book Collective. Ruben joins Zac in studio to perfrom an ambient set as Totems.
