Dr. Julie Hope and Victoria Brownlee chat to Rachel about Volunteer Impact Week, and their different contributions. Dr. Julie Hope's research focuses on studies the role of microalgae in the functioning of NZ coastal soft sediment ecosystems (wow) and is overseeing a microplastics collection project at Little Shoal Bay on Sunday June 16, while Victoria Brownlee is helping to coordinate the whole event, the University’s first ever Volunteer Impact Week.
